Lucifer’s Beard (Chris) reached out to me as he was finishing his first ever mix. He hadn’t made music in over a decade and these were some of his first recordings. That said. he’d done an incredible job and was committed to finishing his mix himself. Through guided feedback we got his mix fixed and then mastered. A few collaborations later (including ones that didn’t need feedback) he achieved BBC Introducing Artist Of The Week with a home demo.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Detailed Mix Feedback
I’ll listen through your mix in detail and flag the specific areas holding it back, from frequency balance to dynamics and stereo image.
I’ll figure out how to fix these problems through compression, EQ or more advanced processing.
I’ll also check what other issues may arise through the mastering process.
2. Practical Guidance
Via a live stream from my DAW we’ll have a 1-2-1 call where we go through all my findings in detail. I’ll give you instructions on how to apply the techniques to level up your mix.
You’ll learn how to fix the issues yourself and understand why they happen, so you improve with every project.
3. Professional Mastering
Once your mix is ready, I’ll master it so it sounds amazing on everything from earbuds to a PA.
I can deliver you specific masters for streaming services, radio play, vinyl production and so on.
You’ll get input on your mastering so you stay in creative control.

DIY Artist On 6 Music
Hang Linton self produces his music and just needed a hand getting a couple of tracks across the line. We worked on adding that professional gloss without losing his soul from the music. It has been released by Zen FC a label from the lads in Yard Act and featured on 6 Music amongst other stations and playlists. Recently back from touring with Benefits he is creating a buzz on the alt music scene.
